Coronado Skatepark
San Diego, CA
SITE Design Group designed, Wally Hollyday poured... Coronado rips! A blast to skate, lines are everywhere! The overall park size is around 16,000 sq ft.
The street area is a good warm-up
(mellow banks) along with a four sided pyramid, fun box w/ flat bar, hips,
quarter pipes, extensions, and a flat bar.
The clover (5'-7' deep with roll-in) offers super fast lines. In the back
of the park is a bowl that ranges in depth from 5' to 8'. All the bowls have
pipe coping installed. The construction and finish is flawless.
Like most of the "California Uber Alles" skateparks, this one is
full of rules and a pad nanny is on duty.
There is a fee to skate, along with session times. There is also some type
of membership fee involved too. That is easy to bypass. Walk up to the gate
and sign the sheet (basically act like you been there before). Pay your $5.00
and go skate!
Full pads are needed.
Open daily 9am to Sunset.
